Era: Turn of the century (circa 1890-1910)
Condition: good; no holes, but overall wear to the fabric design; faint spotting; lining might be replaced; recommended for display only
Measurements (with garment laying flat):
   Wingspan: 57″ cuff to cuff
   Across front: 18.5″
   Length: 15.5″
Additional Notes: Such garments were worn throughout the Ottoman empire and it is believed that this one originates from Turkey or Greece. Made of lovely floral silk fabric with peach color lining (possibly not original given the condition). The woven pattern is somewhat worn down on the fabric, especially around the underarms and shoulder area. Fastens with two metal buttons on the front. Scarce.
