Additional Notes: This style of vest became popular in the 20th century throughout the Carpathian Mountain region especially in Ukraine and Poland. Hand embroidered floral motifs on black wool with faux -fleece trim around the armholes and edges. Fastens down the front with hook and eye clasps, but most are missing and would need to be replaced to be functional.
