Era: WWII era (circa 1930-1950)
Condition: very good; suitable for both wear and display
Measurements: approximately 32″ square + 6.5″ fringe
Additional Notes: Elegant floral kerchief with printed design and hand-tied fringe along all four sides. Fabric is very thin and feels like silk, but is only shiny on one side so more likely cotton that has been finished with give it a shiny surface. Acquired in the Pokuttya region of western Ukraine, but similar kerchiefs were worn in the surrounding regions as well.
