Measurements (with garments laying flat):
   Across shoulder: 11.5″ between shoulder seams
   Across front: 17.5″ between underarms
   Length: 11.75″
   Sleeve inseam: 22.5″
Additional Notes: Short jacket such as this one were worn throughout the villages around the famous town of Lowicz and would have been worn over a heavy striped wool dress. Jackets were decorated in a variety of ways including with embroidery, ribbon trim, sequins, and beadwork. The final photo above shows women wearing different short jackets in this region in a similar way that this example would have been worn in the early 20th century. Fastens down the front with snaps.
