Description: Fascinating book presenting a collection of photographs from ca. 1916 documenting Dutch regional costumes. The photos show mannequins dressed in costumes collected at the end of the 19th century for a museum exhibition. These costumes were subsequently mostly lost during WWII so the photos are a priceless document of historic folk dress from the earliest eras.
