Description: Scarce book presenting paintings of traditional Polish folk costumes from various regions. Paintings by Florian Piekarski, Gustaw Pillati, Emil Lindeman, and Franciszek Lubinski. Given it’s pre-WWI publication date the book remains in quite good condition despite some wear. Based on other copies we have had in the past, two pages and the title page are likely missing from the book as the complete set includes 24 images. Nonetheless, the book remains a valuable and coveted iconographic document with beautiful color reproductions of early Polish paintings.
