Additional Notes: A remarkable find for anyone interested in Moravian folk dress as men’s costumes are particularly hard to come by. The shirt is made of white cotton with attached embroidered panels. The panels can be removed for washing so that they do not get damaged. The only embroidery that is not removable is at the cuffs and so there is a little bit of wear and color bleeding around the flowers there from washing, but it is not very noticeable. The vest is masterfully made of navy blue wool and is decorated with embroidery, trim, buttons, and huge red pompoms on the front and tassels on the back. There is a pocket on the inside. Apart from some minor stains to the inside of the vest it is in excellent condition! The hat is made of stiff black wool with red yarn on the top. Overall the set is in very nice shape with minor expected wear as detailed above.
