Additional Notes: Matched pair of front and back aprons from the northern Transylvania region of central Romania. Woven and embroidered by hand with loops at the waist for attaching to a sash around the waist. Wool with cotton embroidery. Historic reference photo above shows women wearing these types of aprons.
