Additional Notes: Traditional blouse from the Bukovina region of western Ukraine. Decorated with thousands of tiny glass beads arranged in floral motifs. Bead embroidery became popular in Ukraine during the interwar period and has remained an integral part of traditional design in western Ukrainian folk dress into the 21st century.
