Era: WWII era (circa 1930-1950)
Includes: blouse, vest, front apron, back apron skirt, cap, waist ribbon sash
Condition: good; wear, fraying and color bleeding to floral trim on vest; small tear at top back of vest; small holes and repairs to skirt and apron; blouse has a few minor stains; repairs between embroidered points along front of cap; general signs of wear and age; suitable for both wear and display
Measurements (with garments laying flat):
   Blouse – across front: approximately 17-22″ between underarms (measured loosely, not fully stretched out)
   Blouse – length: 16″
   Blouse – sleeves: 17″ from collar to cuff
   Vest – across front: 17″ between underarms
   Vest – length: 16″
   Skirt & apron set – waist: 30″ + 33″ across top of waistbands = fits approximately 33″-50″ around waist when worn

Additional Notes: Traditional woman’s folk costume from the village of Banka in western Slovakia. Multicolored floral embroidery on all of the elements along with openwork embroidery on the blouse and cap. Beautiful metal lace trim on the vest.
