Additional Notes: Wonderful striped skirt from the Podlasie region of eastern Poland. Black ground with multi-colored stripes typical of the region. Likely cotton with wool. Identical skirts were worn across the border in Belarus and the Volyn/western Polissia region of Ukraine as shown in the reference photo above.
