Additional Notes: Simple yet elegant black dress from the Gelnica area of eastern Slovakia. Made of woven black floral cloth with a simpler bodice that would have typically been covered by a jacket and thus not seen. The front of the skirt section is open and not pleated as it is designed to be covered by an apron.
