Additional Notes: Rare style woman’s vest with tree of life embroidery motif on the front. Black cotton with colored trim, fully lined with homespun hemp cloth. One red and five black plastic buttons with flower motifs. The button at the top is simple as it would have been covered by the blouse collar and thus did not need to be decorative (which would have been more expensive at the time). Similar vests were worn across the border in Belarus.
