Description: Beautiful bilingual book about traditional Polish folk dress. The book was published on the occasion of Stanislaw Gadomski’s donation of his photographic archives to the Tychy City Museum. His photographs were the subject of a similar book published in 1995 about Polish folk dress, however the present book has been expanded to include a heavier emphasis on the folk dress of the Silesian region with additional photographs by Barbara Kubska. The book has also been supplemented with texts describing the various regional costumes and translated into English making it more accessible to a wider audience. A publication worthy of any reference library dealing with traditional folk dress and European fashion. Small print run of only 1,000 copies.
