Measurements: 14″ wide x 25.5″ long including fringe
Additional Notes: Traditional woman’s apron worn in the neighboring villages of Sumiac, Telgart and Vernar in central Slovakia. Made white cotton with purple woven geometric motifs. This style of apron was used for everyday wear and there are many small stains attesting to its functional purpose. Washing has not been attempted, but will likely remove many of the spots. The final image shows this type of apron with the folk costume from Vernar.
