Includes information on the history and making of traditional costumes, photos, diagrams, weaving & embroidery techniques, and much more. The book is divided into 15 sections describing the ethnographic regions of Latvia with 24 color illustrations of the local costumes plus hundreds of black/white photos. At the end of the book there is a section of tipped in color photos that were added by the dance group when it was republished.
