Additional Notes: Traditional married woman’s headdress from the Paloc ethnic group of northern Hungary. Made of metallic lace, floral ribbon, and red silk trim on a linen base (likely lined inside with stiff paper or cardboard). The ribbon bow on the front is the top of the headdress as can be seen in the historic images above of women from Heves wearing this style headdress.
